2014-10-23 - Riese Shares Auburn University Award

David Riese shared the Auburn University President's Outstanding Collaborative Units Award with faculty members of the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy, Ginn College of Engineering, College of Veterinary Medicine, and College of Agriculture.  The award recognizes the creation of the interdisciplinary, collaborative Pharmaceutical Engineering program.  Congratulations to David and other team members Mark Byrne (leader), Robert "Rusty" Arnold, Allan David, Ram Gupta, Douglas Martin, Valery Petrenko, Jay Ramapuram, and Jacek Wower.

2014-10-23 - Richard Cullum Earns Award in Poster Competition

Richard Cullum earned 2nd place at the Auburn University Graduate Engineering Research Showcase for a poster entitled "A High-Throughput Screening Process for the Discovery of Melanoma Chemotherapeutics Targeted at the ErbB4 Receptor Tyrosine Kinase."  Congratulations, Richard!

2014-09-20 - Riese and Cullum Attend AACR Melanoma Meeting

David Riese and Richard Cullum attended the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) "Advances in Melanoma: From Biology to Therapy" meeting.  This was an opportunity for David and Richard to discuss their ongoing work to develop targeted melanoma therapeutics.

2014-09-10 - Riese Attended NAS FDP Meeting

David Riese was selected by the Auburn University Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) to represent Auburn University at the Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP) meeting in Washington, DC.  The FDP is a program organized by the US National Academy of Sciences.  The goal of the FDP is to encourage cooperation between academia and US Federal agencies in developing best practices for grant and contract applications and grant and contract administration.

2014-05-24 - Paper Published in Seminars in Cell and Developmental Biology

A review article written by David Riese and Richard Cullum, entitled "Epiregulin: Roles in Normal Physiology and Cancer", has been published by the journal Seminars in Cell and Developmental Biology.  Congratulations, David and Richard!
